I charge my regular rate of $60 an hour for editing services. Due to the variable nature of editing, I edit by the hour rather than by the word, as the same amount of words from two different writers may require vastly different editing times.

In order to decide if I'm the right editor for you, I offer free sample edits of 2000 words. To query about editing, all you need to do is email the sample you'd like edited to natalieseabooks@gmail.com and let me know which editing approach you'd like me to take. I cannot guarantee that either approach will be faster/less costly.

While I can and do tailor my editing to each and every client​--in the end, your story is YOURS and what you say goes--I offer two distinct editing styles: a red-line approach or a notes approach.​

Red-Line Editing

In red-line editing, I put your manuscript into a Google Doc and use the Suggest tool to directly edit as I go. You can choose which edits to accept and which to discard, or comment on ones you'd like more information about. This approach is great for those who want a more streamlined approach.
